Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The posts are Group „B‟ (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of the pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.
Age Limit as on 01.01.2021:
The age limit for the posts of Junior Engineers in various Ministries/ Departments/Organizations as of 01.01.2021 is 30 and 32 years depending upon the organization.

The Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories is as per government rules and regulations.
Education and other Qualifications as on 01.01.2021:
Degree, Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engg. from a recognized Institute, Board or University recognized by All India Board of Technical Education.
Application Fee:
- For General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen & Women Candidates: Nil
- Payment Mode (Online): Through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Master Card, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
